It’s somehow showboating when Fury does it though.
People saying Fury won the first 2 rounds because "even though he was showboating, Usyk didn't do anything"

MF! Fury was showboating after every SHOT Usyk landed lmfao

Does Usyk have more power that being credited for ? Yes. Does Fury have somewhat of a glass jaw ? Yes. Does Fury have very good recovery and survival skills after being knocked down ? Yes.

Boy was he wrong. The way Usyk picked those shots in the 9th was beautiful. Being able to get up off single shots from WIlder and Ngannou gave Fury over confidence. That said the fact he didn't go to sleep was admirable. AJ would have been done if he had taken that punishment. It was way worse than what AJ took from Ruiz.

Usyk paced himself better. He looked gassed at about the halfway mark but then got his second wind in the last quarter of the fight. Fury gassed later so only got his second wind in round 11-12.

If we were still in the days of 15 rounders we could have had a hell of a finish.
He underestimated EVERYTHING about Usyk. His arrogance made that fight more tuff than it was.

Usyk is deceptive with his power. He usually doesnt fully commit to his shots. When he does though he can wobble heavyweights. he wobbled AJ too.

Usyk changes tempo so well as well as power in his shots. Opponents simply are not advanced enough to keep up with that. People are saying “Fury should kept hitting the body”, “Fury should have kept out of reach”, etc.. are not seeing the obvious. Yes you can do that for some rounds with Usyk, but not over 12 rounds when he goes through the gears, ups the tempo, as well as punching power.

Then he got his nose busted in the 8th which makes breathing a MF.
Yeah that was a funny one. We all figured Fury would try that leaning stuff, and he did try, but mostly it didnt work well. I would have expected Usyk to slide out of it but not to reverse it. It was boss move against a taller bigger guy.

Fury has been down 8 times. Against Neven Pajkic, Steve Cunningham, Deontay Wilder 4 times, Francis Ngannou, and now Oleksandr Usyk.
