That's dependent on the commission where they are fighting. The NYSAC and Neveda commission were opposite, in one you couldn't be saved in the other you could. I don't remember what they're doing now.

Didn't professional boxing end standing 8 counts in 1998, I think refs love giving fury more time to recover, his recovery skills are impressive to be fair , but he should have a few ko loses for sure

Yes , there's no standing 8 count in professional boxing. It must be nice to get those few extra seconds. It's frustrating when a referee takes forever before restarting the action
We were talking about a fighter being saved by the bell. In Nevada and in New York they had different rules , in one of them a fighter could be saved by the bell in the other they couldn't, in one the doctor or ref could stop a fight , in the other it was just the ref, I forgot which was which. Do you remember ? It's the same now as far as I know they both use "The Unified Rules" . It never made sense to me why they were different.

It wasn’t a standing eight count though. Fury was only held up by the corner, and did actually collapse.

had fury as my pick but props to usyk hes a bad man.

i thought fury fought great from rounds 3 to 6 and looked in control but usyk found another gear, im not sure fury wins the rematch he can't do much more and usyk will find it easier
