Serrano had the biggest moments for sure but Taylor simply won more rounds. I was wanting Serrano to win but she didn't do enough outside of a few big moments.
Serrano can definitely beat Taylor but she cant let rounds slip away again.
Moments alone don't win fights, they're scored round by round. If Serrano goes in just taking the fight a round at a time and looking to win the round, she can definitely win. If she goes in with the thought of knowing she can hurt Taylor and looking for her, she'll start losing rounds again.
It was a close fight. The knockdown was a big moment but Serrano was outworked in other rounds and I'm sure both women (rightfully) feel they won.
Regardless, it was an entertaining fight that lived up to the hype and it was held on a big stage in front of many eyes. Both did the women's sport credit that night.
Amanda is coming up two weight classes. She shouldn’t have taken this fight but obviously money talks
Amanda is coming up THREE weight classes. Taylor insisted on this fight being at 140, not 135 like last time, because she's trying to get every advantage she can knowing she got edged in the last one - even though all the judges didn't get it right. I feel like Serrano will get a clear victory on the cards this time. She definitely let off the gas last time and that cost her the fight.

Problem I have is when one fighter beats the sht out of another fighter for 3 minutes and has them in huge trouble, THAT should be scored a two-point round which can make a difference on the scorecards. A one-point round for that kind of round is ridiculous for that kind of trouncing that took place.
I felt Serrano did more than enough in the first fight to get the victory. I got robbery vibes when it was announced Taylor had won. Brutal rd.5 aside, Serrano banked enough other rds. Though rd5. should have been scored maybe even a 10-8 due to how destructive Serrano was in it. I don't even know how Taylor survived it and I'm shocked the ref didn't try to stop it. I guess Taylor is lucky that they had a good ref who didn't overreact and jump in.

Exactly!, except that their fight was for 2 minutes, not 3 minutes, if it had been scheduled for 3 minutes in their first fight, Taylor probably wouldn't have lasted the round.
I had Serrano winning that fight, and it wasn't a close fight unless you were giving Taylor point's for catching punches on her face.
After the final bell rang Taylor's face was a mess, and she was out of it, her corner was surprised, and elated that she was announced the winner.
Because Serrano apparently has to beat Taylor every second of every round in order to win if it goes to the score cards.
I hope that Serrano trains up in the mountains, so that she'll be able to do just that if it's necessary to (beat her from start to finish).
More importantly Taylor is becoming less understandable when she speaks, and it isn't due to her Irish brogue.
It's due to her catching so many punches on her head, so she shouldn't be bragging about having taken Serrano's best punches.
Those punches have lingering effects on a boxer, and Taylor has had some brutal fights with Persoon twice, Cameron twice, Jonas once, now she's going for another.
I respect Katie Taylor's, grit, and determination, but this is Serrano's biggest moment to shine in front of the boxing world, and she won't be denied.

The referee didn't do Taylor any favor by letting her get pummeled the way she did. The affects of those punches are starting to show up when she speaks, like in her latest press conference.
