He was assisted by the ref because there was tremendous pressure for a unification fight, there is no money in Dubois being champ or in a dubois-Usyk rematch. You are the one in denial about how corrupt our sport really is.

At the time of the fight I felt it was a legit KO: But DDD quit then, as always, so I don`t really care.

Dubois can get a rematch, if he can beat Hrgovic.

In real time, watching live, I thought the shot was legit and Dubois got robbed of the HWT title. Was a raging debate in the RBR thread.

Dubois ended up quitting so I guess it doesn’t matter.

I think with replays i conclude it was low as the punch started from when DDD fist was near the floor and bring the punch up. But ref didnt have replays and hindsight, so id have thought he would allow it. As im sure many punches in fights are landed on the belt like that and are allowed even when they are suspect.
