He seems to enjoy promoting himself as an "undisputed" champion. If he wanted to he could do a quick turnaround for this fight and take a third fight later this year.

The guy Crawford is fighting next he's fighting because Fundura is medically suspended, Tszyu just lost and Jermell is hiding in Al's closet. Madrimov is actually a good fighter.

I'm pretty sure Canelo will vacate the belt. The fight is a farce and Canelo only wants big paydays against mediocre overhyped fighters with some name recognition. Berlanga is almost surely next and then I could see the other Charlo and Canelo retiring.

I agree, not like he hasnt fought in sept and then again in December before, he probably would prefer a lighter touch given munguia made him work throughout that fight for the win.

Scull's last 3 fights are tune up level fights that weren't even 10 rounders. No way is he anywhere near the level needed to fight Canelo.

The last time an IBF mandatory challenger challenged for the sanctioning body’s 168lbs title was in 2021, when Caleb Traux challenged then-titleholder Caleb Plant.

Weird, the IBF is usually first to demand their mandos get a shot, even if it disrupts major fights.

Madrimov is far from a tomato can. His resume is actually better than Ennis' resume. Ennis hasn't beaten anyone nearly as good as Soro or Kurbanov. Just because you aren't familiar with him doesn't mean he isn't good. Says more about your knowledge than it does his ability.
