Sure he won't lose his title anytime soon...as long as he avoids the likes of Tank, Matias, Teofimo etc

That's entirely debatable. Matias looks the part and is exciting to watch but he's yet to fight any of the top contenders or title holders. Teo has skills and talent aplenty but his mental state is always in question.
As for Tank, you talk as if Tank did some kind of "job" on Cruz. That fight was close as hell. If Cruz was in Tank's position, he would've been given the nod, the same as Haney/Lomachenko, Taylor/Caterall, Barroso/Romero, Canelo/GGG 1, etc etc.
