because at the time, Loma was the guy to beat! he was the star (kinda like how tank is right now)... there was no mention of any interest of fighting him from tank... just because they are promoted under 2 different companies doesn't really mean anything.. fights got made in the past from 2 different companies... and at the time, Loma was is his prime, are you saying Arum doesn't believe Loma could be tank during that time? you know arum don't have any problems co-promoting fights when HE knows HIS fighter will win and at the time Loma had all the advantage to beat tank!

How many fights do cross promotion? Floyd Manny, Fury Wilder 2 and 3, Tank Ryan Garcia just off the top of my head. And all of those fights had big cross over potential. Not necessarily Tank Loma. That’s why neither side really entertained making it. The only way they could’ve made the fight is if one side allowed their fighter to go over and fight on the other network. Neither side was willing to do that. So my point was why does one side take all of the blame while the other lies blameless?

In boxing there’s too much dck riding so you will never get an honest assessment. If you like it fighter then people will always find a way to justify their decisions. And people will find a way to blame the fighters they don’t like.

Both fighters on opposite sides of the boxing political spectrum. So why does all the blame lie on Tank and why does Loma get a pass? Loma has the best promotion company and the biggest sports network in America on his side. Why wasn’t there any pressure on him to make the fight? He’s the higher ranked more accomplished fighter.

....and he loses his fights occasionally. That slows up the process.
