Loma is a pretty superb technician, one of the best this century, and has his place in boxing history.

To think, in only his third pro fight, back in the day, he beat an excellent boxer in Gary Russell Jr.

Yes; he had hundreds of amateur fights and won two Olympic gold medals, but it was impressive how quickly he started fighting and beating top guys.

Teo also overrated and overhyped. He underperformed clearly vs Kambosos though.

Hopefully this Loma win has finally put an end to Kambosos milking his fluke win several years ago. The guy has always been C level at best ye lt somehow managed major paydays and had superior boxers have to travel to Australia to kick his ass. Those last two body shots were painful. Poor guy is going to be walking around bent over for a week. Lomachenko looked lightning fast to my eye, and when he stepped up for an exchange, he often threw a lot of punches before moving away. Even when he moves away, it's crafty. He actually steps forward and past his opponent while turning back to him. Kambosos motioned a lot about being hit in the back of the head, but the way he was slipping hooks by moving his head forward made that happen. I really didn't see either fighter being intentionally dirty. Props to Loma for a solid win.

Normally I am rooting for the fighter that Bradley is not rooting for. I am wondering if any Kambosis fans Thought that he was bias toward Loma.
Normally I have to have the sound turned off when he is commentating because the bias is infuriating.

Let’s not let those pesky little things we like to call facts get in the way of a good old fashioned emotional rant eh? Let’s roll back the hands of time and truly depict what that “deal” was. Fast Eddie wanted to lock Wilder into a THREE FIGHT 100 mil fight deal. Everyone on the planet knew the fight between AJ and Wilder itself, at the time it was being discussed was 100 mil+ in itself. Wilder said repeatedly he was not going to be shoehorned into a three fight deal. As big as that fight was he was being cheated out of millions.

Back then, AJ vs Wilder in the US was a $100m+ fight in Wilder's dreams and Shelly Finkel's lying mouth only. In the real world, it was nowhere near that big. Outside of hardcore boxing fans, nobody in the US knew who either of them were.

At that time, Haymon and Finkel were refusing to even talk to Eddie Hearn about Wilder. Wilder himself was saying that he would not be part of any deal involving Eddie. Because if this, and knowing how much money Deontay was leaving on the table by not fighting AJ, Lou Duva, Wilder's promoter, brokered a meeting between Deontay and John Skipper, CEO of DAZN.

Skipper offered Wilder $100m for a 3 fight deal with DAZN. The deal was: $20m to fight his mandatory with Breazeale then $40m each for 2 fights with AJ. All the fights would happen in the US. And as long as Wilder didn't lose to Breazeale, he was guaranteed $40m for a rematch with AJ even if he lost the 1st fight.

The contract would have been between Wilder and DAZN, not Eddie Hearn. The only part Eddie played in the deal was to give his guarantee that if Wilder accepted the offer, AJ would fight him.

Big statement by Loma. Specially compared to Haney, who all he had to do to become “undisputed” was receive an email title and then and go the distance with this guy, without even being able to beat him up the way Loma did.
