...Is that a typo or did Ennis really say he expects 20,000 fans? He thinks there will be 20,000 people that will bother to buy tickets for Boots Ennis vs Crowley???

This constant equivocation of this "no one wants to fight him" narrative doesn't sit well with many people. It's a vicious lie. He and his team know it. And when they realized it's not working and the pressures of inactivity began to sink in, they went to having promoter issues.

Boots is 32?!? Damn man, times a ticking. Lower weight divisions have a much shorter shelf life and he could theoretically be out of his prime in just a few years.

nah he aint - NSB never want to invest in proof readers - have no idea why - pretty sure he's 26 - he has his whole prime ahead of him - starting now! So he better get a frickin move on and fight 4/5 times every 2 years - if he can get 10 fights in by the time he is 30 he should have picked up belts at 154 and maybe 160

that's a twisted take - he did have promoter issues - his damn promoter died! Not sure how you would classify that? A non-issue maybe? Then if that wasn't enough the deceased promoter's wife took over an she has zero experience promoting fights - less even than you .

What is twisted is being avoided and having promoter issues are completely different. You can't have both. It's silly. Hope that helps.

                  He's 26. I don't know where they got 32 from.

To reiterate for all of you naysayers Boots is 26 years old,by the time he is 32 he will have at least 12 more KO's,nobody beats Boots.Crawford very well could but won't ,it is just too dangerous of a move for Bud at this point in his career and the money wouldn't be there,Canelo makes more sense.Boots is just too dangerous for most, that is why he can't get any serious takers.Him being handed that title was not his fault.
