Loma's problem is overconfidence. He thinks he can give up the first half of a fight and take over at the end. He can cry all he likes after a fight, but who was to blame for letting the cards get that close? If he does it in Australia, guess who will win?

His footwork, ring IQ and boxing skills in general are just freakish. He had the talent to be a top 10 great. One of my favorite fighters over the last decade. But he will always be the what if guy. Alot of ****** mistakes.
I'd love to see him win another three or four big fights and retire unified. But he won't ever reach the heights he should have.

I have to agree. He gives away too many early rounds. You shouldn't ever give away any round if you can help it. IMO , he needed that 12th round against Haney and he gave it away.N/A likes this.
