Do American fans even know that boxing happens in other countries, and have even larger draws than many title fights in the US. It seems not.

Why isn't there a desire for Americans to leave America, Floyd never left America, Ward never left America, Wilder never left America during his reign so on and so forth.
Because America is the Greatest Nation On Earth, right. Nowhere else matters.

I work with enough Americans that I know there are a certain handful who legit cannot point out where any country outside US is in the world map is, not just Japan. Heck, I once met a dude who thought UK was connected to Europe via land, and didn't know the geographical relation between Spain-France-Germany for the sadness of humanity and he didn't think it was a big deal because "it wasn't that important in life"...and yes, this is why people burn down their houses cooking friggin Turkey every November.

Makes me wonder how many people know the number of cities in USA that are considered richer than Tokyo are these days...hint, Vegas and Philly aren't one of them.

The competition at 122 is better than at 126 in my opinion. Featherweight is pretty weak with most the top guys moving up recently. Goodman and Casimero are quality opponents before a move to 126.

When did we get to a point where getting up
off the canvas and winning by ko lessens a boxer’s reputation?

Not to mention American boxers all fight for the honor of the country and money has nothing to do, which is why they will be willing to fight each other often for peanuts. /s

If Canelo ever gets dropped, some of these guys might actually off themselves.

I'm not saying Inoue has to leave Japan, but beating Nery, after the ban is reversed isn't the big deal they think. Banned in Tokyo doesn't mean much.
