Doubt he'll need to be banned for life given that in all realistic chances, I don't see him fighting another Japanese fighter in general for the rest of his career.
He certainly isn't capable of going down to bantamweight, and he isn't going to get an Inoue payday redux anytime soon after tomorrow, and as of right now there isn't that many notable (if any) Japanese fighters at 126 atleast until Inoue himself gets up there likely sometime next year but even then Nery isn't going to fight him unless he somehow manages to immediately move up to 126 after this fight and somehow get a belt before Inoue gets up there which I doubt will happen.

Hahaha You are the most biased poster here.

Nery was hurt to the body múltiple times before Figueroa, and knocked down some times, Munguia is a freaking monster very strong.

This is a very easy fight to Inoue.

Inoue need to go 126, normally a division with a Lot of worldwide talent

His resume is pretty irrelevant in names, most of the champs he beat where worst champions and average champions, no better than Liam Smith, or in that level.

      Thats the truth
You said on here for years Inoue was ducking Nery

now all of a sudden Inoue has a bad resume and need to move up, but Munguia has this great resume? Guy who got hurt by Spike O Sullivan?

      yeah, I’m the biased one

Junto Nakatani will be at 122 pretty soon. Guy is huge for 118, even though he just moved up.

Nery is Inoue's WBC mandatory opponent and the highest ranked opponent in WBC. No one would've been b!tching if Canelo fought Benavidez aka the interim champion of WBC instead of coming up with an excuse to swerve him to fight the lesser of the two opponents in Munguia.

Now if you are a true believer that because Munguia is the "number 1 ranked WBC" and therefore Canelo should've fought him over the "interim champion" Benavidez, then more powers to your heart as you have faith in your man just like Tank's fans do in theirs.

Canelo has had four BS fights since getting dog walked by Bivol, but I guess boxing fans are supposed to just be happy we were graced with his presence.

Nakatani himself has said he wants to stay at bantam to unify (with the dream of going undisputed) so he's definitely going to stay for a few more matches at the minimum. Even if he does go up relatively soon, I think it will likely be in 2026 IMO

                Thats mean nothing.

In one tome Yildrim was the #1 mandatory.

And Munguia is the #1 ranked in the wbo.

at one time Matías rueda was the second highest ranked fighter in wbo
Thats not the point is the level of the opposittion

                Lol

                  I never said that.

Im a fan of Inoue too, but his resume pretty weak

                  Facts.

And he ducked in a dirty mode the fight against Román in flyweight, when he was a champion too

I expect Nery to see what he can do really early and the way he has been talking if he can't make something big happen just roll over by rd 5 for the payday.
