I’ve never heard of a B sample clearing up a positive A sample before. Well he has at least ten days to formally request a B sample test.

VADA is typically very accurate when it comes to their testing. So we’ll just have to wait and see.
I agree. But with how grimy boxing is and Garcia sadly being one of the faces of the sport, you never really know what will go on behind the scenes to preserve the money behind him. Whyte got cleared by his B sample in an extremely rare occasion so I wouldn't put it past me if that somehow happens here. Too much money to tarnish.

Cryan Garcia was killing his career before this awful mess. He’s been plucked up since the Tank Davis ass whooppin.

I respected Malignaggi as a tv commentator based upon him being the only one on the tv who called out Wilder for the blatant in your face cheating - the guy dressed up as a ring doctor stopping the action in round 8 when Wilder was on ***** street and about to go down - in the first Ortiz-Wilder fight, but this negates that. But I'd like to ask him, you make this assertion based on what?
Based on the test results from VADA. I wanted Ryan to win , but I'm not going to lie to myself about some insane conspiracy against him. He cheated and he got caught , ****** him. He didn't want to do the hard work of getting ready for the fight the right way. It's a real shame too because if he had done it the right way , he would have still beaten Haney and not tarnished his reputation. I'm really disappointed , Ryan coming back from the Tank loss and quieting the haters would have been a great boxing redemption story. Now it's meaningless. A black mark on Garcias character and another stain on boxing on the rare occasion these days that it hits the mainstream press.

There is a calamity in the law called Fait Accompli. What ever Ryan did, he got away with it. It was up to the Haneys to say no, but they were bought. You can't cheat an honest man.

He tested positive. He needs to be banned and the fight a no contest.

The results of the tests weren't in until after the fight. I don't understand why they wouldn't do the testing far enough out from the fight to have results back before fight time. Wait , I do understand , it's money. In a fight like this there's too much green at stake to worry about one guy having unfair advantages. Once again the business of boxing takes precedence over the sport of boxing.
I don't know how I continue to love such a dirty , nasty sport , but I do. It must be the magic that happens in the ring.

It was a mistake to fight when the Haneys had a clear reason not to. Now they have to back water looking for evidence beyond the original complaint. Ryan has this on contamination or some other excuse. Forget the B sample, there's too much money involved.

Ryan is his own worse enemy. And being surrounded by YES men including his dad does not help either. Truly sad because he is a talented kid who wants the adulation and trapping$ of success while avoiding the HONEST grind to earn it. His groupies can have him. I hope they throw the book at him!!!

Its highly speculative from what I've heard to suggest Ryan knowingly took these banned substances. So he may or may not have cheated. And its likely we will never know 100% if he did or not knowingly take these substances BUT the rules are if you get caught with a banned substance in your system its ultimately your responsibility. So things should shake out accordingly from there with the result changed to a NC, a fine &/or suspension.
