There are many different aspects to what happened.

Haney and his dad have made themselves out to be the rehydration kings. Fighters have gone on record to say that he simply has to be using IV to rehydrate to the levels he is. That’s cheating plain and simple and pretty much everyone is aware that Haney has been playing that game for a long time. That puts other fighters at risk and he’s been happy to do that so I’ve very little sympathy if he’s now been gamed and his career has been damaged because of it. The Haneys chose to go ahead with the fight despite Garcia being overweight so it’s on them. It’s entirely possible Haney is also on peds and just wasn’t caught - once a cheat always a cheat and he cheats with IV at the very least.

The stuff Garcia took keeps hard tissue and bone strong especially during weight cuts so wouldn’t be at all surprised if Haney has used it too.

So Garcia, knowing this is a common perception thinks nothing of coming in heavy knowing damn sure that Haney will have zero public sympathy. That was planned and deliberate.

No fighter has ever admitted to taking steroids so clearly Garcia is going to deny it. He had not one but two hard core peds in his system. If he’s claiming they got there accidentally it’s up to him to prove that by submitting whatever supplement he’s purporting contained the drug. Not go on social media and make fun of a system designed to protect fighters. If he was spiked then tough. It’s up to him to know the source of everything he’s putting in his body in the run up to a fight and if he’s been ****** enough to leave an open drink about where someone could drop something in more fool him. Try being a professional.

It's not illegal or cheating by using IV's to rehydrate. It's just water and electrolytes.

There are a lot of issues here. At the end of the day we still have to deal with Bill Haney. We have to watch his dirty mug Tell us how his son is the face a boxing. The idiot has been given a nice new soapbox...

I don't know why people are so critical of Haney. He actually doesn't make the pronouncements that his father does. He's pretty soft-spoken and professional actually.

But, he's working with Conti which raises some eyebrows, he has this magnificent method for coming into his fights being very rehydrated for lack of a better term. I don't know how much of a moral high ground he has here.

When I try to think this through I wonder if I'm a fighter how much of an advantage is it worth to take something like this? It really doesn't make any sense to me frankly. So I'm Garcia and I'm trying to make sure I win this fight I'm going to take a chance like that? It makes that big a difference? Just doesn't make too much sense to me.

At the end of the day Garcia did cheat and he could cause harm in doing so. One must ask if this is so much different than when Margarita had his plaster wraps against coto.

The whole situation is bogus to me. I want to get inside somebody's head and understand what makes somebody knowing they're going to get caught, resort to this. Is it really that much of an advantage?

Hey Devin I know you're reading this so check this out! Tank vs Ryan was a PBC production on Showtime PPV. Mayweather promotions knew the significance of this fight. They held Golden boy's feet to the fire. They made Ryan come in on weight. He never had time to spend the majority of his training camp on social media talking about pedophile islands and ghouls and goblins because he was to busy training to make sure he came in at his contracted weight for the fight and you see how it played out. Ryan couldn't come close to hitting Tank and got knocked out. The funny thing is Tank dropped him with a left. That was a professional boxing production from top to bottom courtesy of PBC. Fast forward to Ryan vs Devin. TOTAL FUQING SHYTESHOW! Ryan did no training, drank alcohol and drugs, ******* and steroids, purposely missed weight and even after being caught he is on social media making a mockery out of the while situation. I don't know what you were attempting to call me, but whatever. Someone taking PEDs like Ostarine, and 19-norandrosterone, for the sole purpose of doing bodily harm to another is a criminal act in my opinion! Boxing isn't the same as Track & Field, or Baseball! The VADA test results are accurate and Ryan is full of it, but Haney knows that Ryan's speed and pop is too much for him.

I'm not a big Haney fan, mainly because I don't like how his Father moves, but I feel very bad for him! First, he worked hard to get to 140, and then Ryan doesn't even try to make weight! Yet, they agreed on a price, Ryan honored the debt, so I was cool with the 143. Now this, using PEDs is wild disrespectful, to Haney, AND THE SPORT! Hopefully Ryan gets at least a one year ban, and for those who say the outcome would be no different, you DKSAB! They don't call them "Performance-Enhancing Drugs" for nothing!

As for Bill Haney, a person who supposedly lives by the code in the streets, a man just tried to end your son's career, maybe even his life. If you really about that life, Ryan needs to be dealt with ASAP!!! Handle with care, but get it done...inshallah!
