Obviously Kambosos was born in Australia but carries the Greek flag too because he wants to acknowledge his Greek ancestry/DNA. Similarly, there are photos of both Oscar De La Hoya & Ryan Garcia doing the same thing with both the American & Mexican flags instead. You can try to put everybody under the same banner of 'American' but there's a REASON why designations such as Mexican-American, African-American, Asian-American etc were created - to respect the genetic ancestry of every immigrant.

Anyhow, let's NOT dwell on this as my point was it's a shame that all of these fighter's of Mexican 'descent' are constantly falling out with each other e.g. Canelo-DLH, DLH-Garcia, Garcia-Canelo etc.

The reason is for one sole purpose; to divide. The division creates a plethora of voting classes to create hostility and divide people. In addition, the day you swear the oath to the country for citizenship you are no longer an “immigrant.” You are from that point forward an American CITIZEN. When I see a black person I see that PERSON as an AMERICAN. Give me any hyphenated sub division and across the board if they were born here or swore the oath, from that day forward they are an AMERICAN. In the end, I don’t give two S h I t s where you’re from. Your ancestry is your own but on this soil you’re American.

Yeah, back in the good old days, everyone was just American. Like in WWII when America put its citizens from Japanese ancestry in internement camps? Doesn't really match what you're saying about "on this soil you're American."

But I agree i think Oscar was a little bit out of line for dropping the 2 failed drug tests on Canelo when his own fighter Lying Ryan recently just popped for PEDs.
