I wouldn't mind these fights (Munguia, Berlanga, et al) if Canelo wasn't hoarding the belts. They could be entertaining on their own merits, but they're tainted with the knowledge that the two most deserving guys (though I'll argue Munguia is in close approximation) are being severely ducked and denied by corruption and cowardice.

Boxing, folks. Some people call it the theater of the unknown; I'll add the Facts of Life qualifier that you literally take the good, you take the bad.

Canelos 33 is a normal 38 because all the injuries n you see him slowing down knowing he can't beat the elites of Morrell jr Beterbiev Benavidez so he outrageously overprices himself x3-4

Berlanga does not in any way deserve to make the amount of money he would by facing Canelo. He hasn't done jack **** to have earned that right. The only thing both would get out of this is the classic Mexican-PR rivalry. One that is a guaranteed win, in fact slaughter for team Mexico. I truly think Canelo would blast Edgar out in the first if he really wanted to. Granted, let's see how this Saturday goes, but if the Canelo we all know shows up Saturday and equally for Berlanga, I'd give Berlanga no chance.

This would be a very disappointing match-up. Berlanga hasn’t shown he’s championship level or ready for the elites.

Munguia has fought solid opposition to get the fight, Derevyanchenko, Ryder, and Liam Smith were legit opponents.

Benavidez has now beaten three solid opponents as well, Dirrell, Plant, and Andrade and is fighting a very good opponent in Gvodyk next.

Lol bro thinks hes already a superstar. Boy Edgar wants canelo next talking about hes mandatory and yet not a single credible opp on his resume , its just like Morrells mandatory status but when take closer look to them recs, you end up wondering who the hell they beat to earn such status...then you remember its the WBA...total joke.

Bivol BARELY won on points. No way do they deny Alvarez again, even if Munguia deserves it. He'd have to outshine Bivol for that to remotely happen, and that ain't happening.
