  • Let's make it final: Usyk vs Fury

Who do you think wins and how?

In my opinion, it's Usyk UD. He's mentally stronger, moves fast and won't tire like USS did (and even he was able to KD Fury, who had to go dirty to KO him).

If Fury is in top shape i say he takes a decision maybe even stopping him to the body like the shot he put Wilder down with we all know Usyk doesn't like it to the body.

To me, if both are at 100% I'd pick Fury 6 or 7 times out of 10 and Usyk 3 or 4

Based on how I perceive their current physical states, Usyk UD. I think Fury's feet have become too slow, that will mean he will struggle to dictate the range of the fight, and Usyk will not find it that hard to get into his preferred range.

Fury is going to have to rely on brawling and hoping Usyk breaks down physically before Fury's stamina does. I'm not so sure about that.

Not a super confident pick, a fury win wouldn't shock me, it'd just indicate fury has a bit more left than I thought.

            Come on, Fury tripped Wilder.

Usyk is hungrier, more disciplined, frankly better. Fury has size and I'll be fair, he is a pretty good technical boxer when he wants to be. However, the Ngannou fight was a clear indicator where Fury is today. He's made an obscene amount of money and can afford to house every Gypsy from here to there if he wanted. He no longer has that drive to match Usyk's work rate. His "power" is a smokescreen, so I don't see any of his punches particularly bothering Usyk. He will literally need to smother Usyk and hope that tires him out. I also think his recent training is compensation and not determination. I think he's going to come in with too much toxic masculinity and tire himself out quickly. Usyk will outpoint him all night and then Fury will probably get the nod because of politics. No one is getting KO'd in this fight; it will most likely go the score cards.

I hope Usyk wins and I'll be rooting for him but I think Fury's size might be a bit too much for Usyk too overcome.

                Fury by KO.

Not so sure. A lot of money in a Fury / Joshua bout, especially if ALL the belts are on the line. Usyk won't rematch Joshua, and frankly outside of hardcores, he's not really a name.

I believe Usyk will need to win dramatically to get the nod, which I think he's more than capable of doing.

Maybe I'm just being a pessimist.

Tyson Fury will win or lose this fight in training camp, and thus-far? I have not been impressed with Tyson Fury and his team's tactics in preparation for this fight.

From my observations, which combines all what I have read, all the interviews I have watched 'And what I sense instinctually'.

I stated many months ago, that it appears? Tyson Fury and his team have reacted in a panic to his performance against Francis Ngannou 'And gone into complete overdrive'.

I have highlighted that many fighters historically, who share similar traits with Fury 'Whenever they have suddenly decided to go into complete overdrive, in some sort of reaction to a under-par performance? It has most of the time backfired, and had negative effects upon crucial aspects of their game'.

Tyson Fury made a conscious decision to alter his training concepts, for his rematch vs Deontay Wilder II 'Up until this point in Fury's career, and comeback? Tyson Fury was attempting to duplicate his former old school Riddler style'.

This style of fighting usually was a bi-product, that demanded a certain type of conditioning 'Which typically seen Fury weighing in at 250 + pounds and under'.

It has become abundantly clear, that Fury was having difficultly recreating his former condition during his comeback fights 'The evidence for this was his fights vs Deontay Wilder I and Otto Wallin'.

Tyson Fury weighed in at 256 pounds vs Deontay Wilder I, and 254 pounds vs Otto Wallin 'And lets all be honest? Fury was battered in both fights'.

Tyson Fury did not win his first fight against Deontay Wilder I 'You do not won world titles by being backed up all night, decked twice once badly'.

Muhammad Ali during his comeback, also went through a similar stage of his career 'When Ali first comeback to the sport after his license being taken away, he attempted to duplicate his former style and condition. Muhammad Ali fought Joe Frazier in the fight of the century, and lost that fight. And then Muhammad Ali's next big rivalry was against Ken Norton, Ali lost the first fight vs Norton 'But won the rematch'.

Muhammad Ali went into complete overdrive in training for his rematch with Ken Norton 'Both fighter's condition was supreme. I have always thought that Muhammad Ali & Ken Norton were overstrained slightly for the rematch, but nobody can deny their overall conditioning'.

It was after the second Muhammad Ali vs Ken Norton II fight 'Muhammad Ali realized and made a conscious decision to adapt and alter his fighting style. Ali knew he had to make this altercation in order to stay competitive'.

Tyson Fury in a very similar situation, after his 12 round competitive fight against Otto Wallin 'Fury made the conscious decision to alter his training concepts and fighting style'.

Tyson Fury weighed in at 272 pounds vs Deontay Wilder II 'That weight was Fury's then career heaviest weight'.

Many hardcore Fury fans, and boxing analyst regard Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder II 'Tyson Fury's best ever pure boxing performance, outside of his fight against Wladimir Kiltschko'.

Note: Tyson Fury since his great win vs Deontay Wilder II 'Has been preparing for fights, and training with a specific concept. The Kronk Fury concept'.

But since Tyson Fury's performance vs Francis Ngannou 'It appears that Tyson Fury and his team, have thrown out the Kronk Fury concept. They have reacted in a panic, and gone into complete overdrive'.

Tyson Fury was in fighting condition vs Francis Ngannou 'Fury weighed in at 277 pounds fully clothed, so Fury was most likely 275 to 274 pounds'.

Tyson Fury weighed in at 277 pound vs Deontay Wilder III 'The third Wilder fight, is regarded as one of Tyson Fury's last genuine great performances'.

The notion that Tyson Fury did not train for Francis Ngannou 'Is nonsense, and people need to stop promoting this narrative. Because it is not backed with any evidence. Was Tyson Fury in his best condition ever? NO, but he was definitively for sure fighting condition for Francis Ngannou'.

All of those factors, are why Tyson Fury's performance vs Francis Ngannou 'Has hit Tyson Fury and his team extremely hard'.

Fury and his team have reacted in a panic 'And gone into complete overdrive'. It appears that Tyson Fury and his team, are attempting to bring back 'A version of Fury that we have not seen for almost 9 years'.

Right now, for the first time in Tyson Fury's career 'Fury is questioning his own abilities'.

If this was not the situation for Tyson Fury, he would not of reacted to his performance vs Francis Ngannou 'Like he has done'.

It is not just Tyson Fury, it seems like 'Fury's entire team have react in panic. And you can document this by, observing during interviews how their perception on fighting Oleksandr Usyk has dramatically altered'.

When the fight was first scheduled 'People from Fury's team were stating, that Fury can beat Uysk in a multitude of ways. Tyson Fury can ether just bull forward or out box Oleksandr Uysk'.

Now, distinctly during the aftermath of Tyson Fury's performance vs Francis Ngannou 'All of those narratives, practically disappeared'.

And those narratives were replaced with 'Tyson Fury was not in condition vs Francis Ngannou. Tyson Fury needs more time to get in condition for Oleksandr Uysk. Tyson Fury needs to bring back his pure boxing, and movement'.

So what I have observed, it does appear like Tyson Fury and his team 'Have not been certain on how to prepare for Oleksandr Uysk. For the first time in Tyson Fury's career, he is uncertain on how to prepare for a fight'.

That is why he has gone into complete overdrive 'Fighters who are certain about their fighting style and abilities, don't historically behave this way. Especially not Heavyweight fighters'.

For me personally, I believed the most optimal way Fury should of prepare for Uysk 'Would of been to just endure another training camp, after his fight vs Ngannou and solidified his conditioning from that fight'.

Tyson Fury was 277 pounds 6 months ago 'He was already fighting condition. The most wisest and optimal way to prepare in my opinion, would of been to make no dramatic altercations in training concepts and to just endure another back to back training camp'.

This would limit the potentially possibility of overtraining, and it would of been a statement of certainty 'For Tyson Fury in his abilities'.

But no matter what version of Tyson Fury turns up 'People must understand that Fury, historically has almost always won his biggest fights accept Deontay Wilder I. Tyson Fury's clutch game is top level, and this is another one of those fights. That is also why I still will not 100% disregard Tyson Fury in this fight' etc.
