Since when has one good ass whooping ever ended a fighter’s career? Perhaps 20 years from now he’ll feel the the effects of it but not now as an active fighter.

However, he doesn’t want to take too many of them because it could potentially shave many years off his career.

Besides, Ryan Garcia was a fight that Haney didn’t have to take. It was a voluntary challenge.

Devin Haney is a great athlete. His body was well conditioned, both physically fit and healthy.

So it should heal just fine.
