I remember Oscar's career. He had a HOF career, but his overall skills and particularly his ring IQ were not greater than Canelo's. That's no disrespect to Oscar, but he lost focus and made costly tactical mistakes in his biggest fights.
at no point in canelo's career that he display higher level skills than oscar!!! like oscar said, canelo cant even throw his hook correctly! LOL..

My position with Canelo is that he had and still has to face Benavidez. I have been consistent with that and that is one of the biggest fights in boxing today. I don't like that he has been the mandatory for so long and yet has gotten a chance to fight Canelo. Benavidez has right all his wrongs and has beaten to opposition impressively.
I will not give a pass on Canelo if he ducks him. I already have one foot off his bandwagon and if he fights Berlanga next I am completely off.

Oscar was 31 when he fought Sturm. He was 29 when fought Mosley.
When EXACTLY was Oscar’s prime?
This is the same malarkey when people cherry pick Pacqiao’s prime - first they say it’s 2000-2003 then he was off his prime until 2007.
Then the next phase was from 2008-2012. After he was brutally KO’d in December of 2012, conveniently he was no longer in his prime.
In 2019 he beats Thurman and wants to fight Spence, the man is back in his “prime”.
The beach front property is not a mirage apparently
