I would add that I am not mistaken the gloves being used are also the ones that Roach demanded (anybody can correct me if I am indeed wrong about that point)
I don't think ring size matters to Cotto. The weight issue, Pac is not a natural ww. The catchweight just make the fight even. The venue, you meaning Las Vegas, it always has been the venue for big fights. Oh, i guess you want them to fight in New York, a Cotto backyard. So what about rematche clause, i am pretty sure that if the fight was closed and Cotto losses, he would like to rematch Pac as soon as possible. The judges, Pac has no control over there. The gloves, Pac wears Reyes and so does Cotto, whats the big deal about that.

Cotto likes to body punch but what happens if he low blows numerous times even though it was unintentional? Should he not be penalize for it.

What happens if there is a clinch and Cotto just pick him up and slams him for no reason. And we know that Pac has been into unintentional headbutt before so Cotto should not take that as pure intentional. Why would Pac do that if he tends to take cuts also.

ring -- still 20X20 right. what has change? pls correct me if I'm wrong
gloves -- cleto, this actually favors cotto because of his power. pac need this just to make cotto feel his punches.
rematch -- ok. it would great for both sides as long as the match is competitive enough.
judges -- ??? never knew this.
venue -- it's neutral. If it is in the PI or MSG, then it would favor one side.
ref -- ??? last time I check, roach is against cortez but did they change the ref?
money -- it is a given that pac will get the lion's share but IMO 35 is low considering cotto is also a superstar in his own right. but cotto already conceded that.
weight -- ok. been done to death but cotto is just going 1lb. will wait fight night if this affects his performance but as of now, my view is that it won't. so weight will play on cotto's favor.
          belt -- ok.

Most of the points you raised are just some alarms/concerns raised by Roach as he extremely vocal nowadays. I do not know if all of it are confirmed. It is an even fight if you ask me. I'll concede belt and money, the rest are ok. But to each his own. Good luck on your fighter.

Roach is correct in his own right. Concern, there's no wrong about it. "five low blows" is definitely a concern in big fights like this one.

Once again.. something Roach should of thought about before calling Cotto out.

I mean if Roach gets away with this request, Cotto could also put one in saying if Manny darts in throwing the left hand recklessly and headbutts him causing a cut, should Manny be disqualified? The whole idea is preposterous.

Boxing is a brutal sport. Everyone involved knows the risks. The referee determines then what action to take from their existing playbook. The same rules apply to Manny and Cotto. You cannot have tailored rules or conditions for a particular fighter. Once the bell rings, everything is to be considered equal. Manny is awesome, but Roach is really starting to annoy me. Cotto is already facing a handicap with the weight. Just let the guys fight.
i agree with everything, except the bolded part.

the weight is in cotto's favor.
