Still don't undersatand that. After weeks and weeks and weeks of trainin and conditioning most fighters start gassing out about round 6.

Look i understand if your taking a beating that will get you, but at times fighters just run outa puff from wrestling, exchanging, running around ring. Don't they prepare for all that while in training?????

I cn be overtraining. Or it can be lack of conditioning. Reglar training/sparring is not the same a being hit full speed and going rounds in an actual fight.

      two things:

Training outside the ring isn't the same as working in the ring.

      and..

Sparring, though it can get rough, isn't true fighting, where the other wants to put you down for the sake of his family, or whatever he is fighting for

in the ring, your body goes into adrenaline mode, you'll be quicker than usual, more powerful and with better reflexes come fight night when your heart is racing being in front of a huge audience, the problem with the adrenaline is it dont last long

Being tired is only in the mind, says Pac. And to think he is fighting for an entire country, he fights as if his opponent is going to kill his family.

getting hit to the head causes the body to react abnormally and takes the organs and body to another level of physical activity, basically the more you get hit, the more you are gonna get exhausted... basically in boxing you HAVE to try NOT to get hit

Sparring has a more relaxed atmosphere.

Nervous energy. A lot of fighters, i.e. Jermain Taylor, are physically well conditioned but have **** stamina because they are so tense when they fight, which diminishes they're conditioning. This is why James Toney for years would show up to fights with a huge gut and not tire nearly as badly as someone like Taylor, because he was so relaxed in the ring.

Not to mention these guys are facing a supremely conditioned fighter as an opponent that has peak power and stamina and when you fight someone like that it takes it all out of you faster...

You can train all you want but if you overexert your energy you're fucked. If you deviate from your game plan, you can gas out no matter how hard you train. Fighters are only human and can get nervous, anxious etc...
