No hate. Just facts. Your little Vergil is a COWARD. He wasn't interested in Timmy until Fundora exposed him. If he gets past August 3rd, let's see if he calls for Bud again or if his nuts shrink again like they did at 147.

You ****** FK!! This is Ortiz calling out Tszyu after the Lawson fight BEFORE the Tszyu/Fundora. Look and weep, brainless one: Exhibit A: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MPOsQOsg8aI. Exhibit B: https://www.espn.com/boxing/story/_/...alls-tim-tszyu

        Just watched the replay.
Basically Ortiz got him down and out with the first solid punch he connected with.

Not accusing Dulorme of anything, but it's well known that Ortiz and Dulorme are friends outside of the ring.
And having recently watched Ortiz's fight against Kavaliauskas.
Kavaliauskas was eating hard shots and body punches for 8 rounds before he said NO MAS.

So, I guess it kind of looks weak from Dulorme.
Ortiz also gets no benefit only fighting 2 rounds in this new weight category...

Dulorme was too small for 147, let alone 154. He was 4-4-1 at 147 and the 4 wins were against journeymen. His last quality wins came at 140 in 2014, before Crawford effectively ended his career as a contender in 2015.

Vergil is the co main for Crawford vs Madrimov to face the winner. Not even Madrimov is scare of Crawford, or Avanesyan let alone Vergil.

Bud wants belts at 154, he didn’t get to choose who had those belts before he moved up. Charlo has been holding as many as he can hostage, the others are being haggled over by PBC. Not hard to understand. Why fight Ennis for a belt he’s already had?

Ortiz should’ve taken a better warm up. He, like pretty much every commentator on here, is looking at the Fundora fight and massively underrating Tszyu. Not many if any people at 154 could’ve continued against Fundora trying to look through a wall of blood. Go have a better look at the Harrison or Mendoza fights. Had it not been for the cut Fundora would’ve been stopped and stopped early.

I don’t think Ortiz will last to see the latter half of the fight. I see it very much like Canelo vs Bivol. I don’t think Ortiz yet knows quite what it’s like to be in the ring with an elite 154, but he’ll find out. What did he do at 147 when he was actually healthy to fight? who did he beat? what’s he shown against a bigger genuine puncher? I can see Tszyu is way better skill wise and deceptive with his attacks. I don’t think Ortiz’s power will remotely phase him just like Canelo’s didn’t trouble Bivol. I expect Tszyu to take away that jab with reasonable ease and I expect Ortiz to have very little to fall back on and don’t believe he has the skill to fight off the back foot. His style is entirely reliant on pressuring the other guy. What happens when he meets someone bigger and stronger with better skills? He’s shown us nothing else in his career so far and has always seemed pretty one dimensional to me. Only the US hype him.

Well done Ortiz, ko in one round, as Ennis did.

Perhaps time for Dulorme to call it a day, unless he wants to continue as a journeyman.
