I noticed a pattern .. guys who lack power turn themselves into the michelin man to create the illusion that they are powerful .
Look at Tommy Fury. Same thing

It’s genetics.
Big muscles don’t equate to power. It’s an enate ability at the surface.
Punchers like Inoue, George Foreman, Tommy Hearns, Golovkin etc are born. Their muscle mass is irrelevant.

Are you saying Haney woke up with that bulk?

As far as I can understand, you need a lot of fast twitch fibers in muscles for KO power.
You need to be explosive and simply gaining muscle won't make you a KO machine.
You also need to hit when your opponent is not ready to take a punch.

No.
I’m saying whether he has muscles or not has no bearing on a fighters power, Haney’s not a hard puncher, he never will be.
He’s always been in good shape and ripped. Thats his genetic make up.

funnily enough, Mayweather thinks haneys jab is too commital. So he does try to throw power shots ..
I really like haneys jab, but Mayweather dissed it as amateur. I don't know IF he meant the sport or a complete diss
