Ryan Garcia will never win a world championship.

“but but he defeated a champion at 140 brooo” yeah a champion at 140 not at 143. There’s a reason he didn’t win that title, no matter how much he wants to yap. Haney is a glass jawed pillow fist, and even HE managed to rock ryan glassia.

He doesn’t have the dedication, work ethnic, nor mental toughness to win a high profile devision or an impressive stoppage. Move up to 147? boots and ortiz will starch him. By his very own admission, he cannot make 140 anymore and is going to welterweight.

Floyd, DLH, Pac, all these guys were PFP by the time they are ryan’s age. The only reason ryan is famous is because he has a genetically gifted face, having a robust face while having perfect prettyboy features. That’s it. This man is quite literally given undeserving shots against davis and haney because of his looks.

He has talent, sure (good power and speed) but it doesn’t translate to skill. No jab, turns around when he gets hit.

Best case scenario, he wins a paper belt.

We live in an era where Rolly Romero became world champion. Ryan could easily win a world title against the right opponent.

Making him a fake paper champion. A guy who fought against C level fighters, cheated against guys on his skill and size level, and failed at the elite level every time.

“pfp top 5” We all knew haney was overhyped trash whose been meat ridden by the sports media.

Secondly, he was a welterweight fighting a junior lightweight. Why do u think he didn’t win that title?

Lastly. Even a pillow fist in haney managed to have ryan garcia hurt. So yeah, he will never win a world belt legit. Paper champion at best.

Once Crawford vacates all the other belts I see him being able to win a vacant one at 147. 147 is trash

Depends what you mean by a world championship. He will probably never be recognised by the TBRB as champion of a division. He can probably win at least one of the ten belts available in each weight class though:
                1. WBC.
                2. WBC 'interim'.
                3. WBC 'franchise'.
                4. WBA 'super'.
                5. WBA 'regular'.
                6. WBA 'interim'.
                7. IBF.
                8. IBF 'interim'.
                9. WBOgus.
                10. WBOgus 'interim'.

You're ****** if you think Haney entered the ring as a junior lightweight (that's 130lb btw). Haney entered the ring for his last fight at 165. Ryan entered the ring for his last fight at 160. It's entirely possible Haney still outweighed Ryan, despite Garcia missing weight.

He could probably win a vacant title and defend it against the usual trash mandatories. Not sure if he'll care to though.

I mean it depends on the competition as well, I don't see Ryan as a great fighter considering how limited he is, but what he does good he excels. He has the equalizer with his explosive handspeed.

If Rolly could get a title due to favoritism, why not Garcia? He might not win all his fights but he be a live dog against the likes of Crowley, Barrios, Giyasov and Stanionis at 147.
