Yes. MoonCheese was talking about this the other day, and how King just made the fights rather than this modern 'marination' nonsense.

'Marination' is just code for 'milk the fans while dangling the carrot'.

Little Gamboa and Mean machine heck all of Crawford last 10 opponents have all done better than Spence.

Literally went from top dog in 154 to back-back defeats. Vergil sharp straight punches while Tim likes to loop a lot of his work. Which punch gets home first?

This card is how it used to be.

Obviously this is a risky fight but Tim has been taking risky fights. Hell half of the belt holders in boxing or more just opt out of switching up to Fundora so late.
If he can do this and the rematch, there's no downside. He take take this fight for money and machismo without risking the belt, and then fight to recover the belt no matter the result.

I don't know. Ortiz didn't look stellar in his last one, and he's been off for a while. I think his current condition is a question mark. But we'll certainly know after this, as well as where Tszyu stands in the lineup.

Watch out for those body shots Tim.

I think that Tim is just a level below Virgil across too many facets, although Tim is a good fighter as well. Virgil should have been on top by now if he hadn’t had his health problems.
