Crazy card. They better pace this right. I don't have 14 hours to watch these cards.
Vergil Ortiz vs Tim Tszyu in August 3.

Was it though? The fight was monotonous with SF outponting a blind Tszyu with lazy jabs who repeatedly was trying to land a big shot while losing rounds. Despite both fighters bleeding profusely from their injuries, they didn't seem to have received much coccussive damage besides Fundora getting caught at the start and Tszyu getting caught at the end of the fight with some nasty few uppercuts.
Nothing really stopped the pace.
Seriously wonder who trained Fundora though, I get it he has bad eye sight and he naturally can't throw a strong fast pumping jab.
But he should be able to basic jab at least, done right it actually be a game changer for him, whether it's too keep his opponents at bay or set up a uppercut/hook while blocking his opponents view. Just seems like a waste even if his main focus is infighting.Last edited by Malvado; 04-23-2024, 05:07 PM.Comment

I can't believe Tszyu would give up his rematch opportunity to get his belt back, to fight a dude who might beat his ass. Wonder what he's getting paid, it's gotta be a decent purseComment

Obviously this is a risky fight but Tim has been taking risky fights. Hell half of the belt holders in boxing or more just opt out of switching up to Fundora so late.Comment

Turki said hes down to make Bud vs Boots at 154 later this year.
I think the Boots fans gonna see bigger opportunities in the next 12mos & the Boots haters gonna find less reasons to hate him as he starts fighting better opps & giving them tests they haven't seen, beating them or giving fun fights win or lose.Comment
