He put a video up explaining that he was NOT fasting giving his reasons. Beterbiev has been fasting his whole career as have many MMA fighters. In any case its irrelevant as he clearly said he wasn’t fasting that Garcia even used against him saying he was a hypocrite etc to get under his skin.

It’s possible someone new to fasting could be affected but its moot as he wasn’t. Garcia might just have Devins number - no shame in that. Devin will be back with same faith and stronger (as much as people will hate on it for own reasons). I generally feel something was off with him in the fight as he was really rigid / wooden movement wise - he seems to take too much emotional pressure on ‘needing’ to beat Garcia and lacked the fluidity he normally has.

I would like to see the fight at 147 so Garcia seens no reason to cheat and Devin doesn’t have any excuses either. Both rehydrate and Garcia can win the belts the right way or Devin redeems himself.

Thats not a diss on religion either, lots of people live happier lives believing they will be rewarded in the next place, look at devin himself & bill too, for all we know the only reason they actually switched to Allah was for the extra ******* & 20+ of them waiting for each and every one of them when they move on, thats quite an incentive for some people
