I see Teofimo as the biggest fight out there he could potentially win. Both guys have some quality attributes but they both have their flaws too.

      Would be a massive fight.

But GBP has no say in who Garcia fights. In the past yes, but not now and his recent fights. Oscar could not even talk him out of what he wants. And Dela Hoya fought tooth and nail against the stipulations in the Tank fight and Ryan didn't even give a F. Maybe he eventually realized it just recently. So Ryan picks his fights and anyone at GBP can't talk him out of it.
I think Matias would murder Ryan. Surely GBP don’t put their cash cow in with a killer like “No Mas” Matias.

Good point tbf man, I do think Ryan has a lot of sway.

I'm pretty sure Santillan is with TR. Maybe Barbosa or Ramirez.

I hate to be cynical, but I think we know what to expect. GBP is going to do the same thing they've been doing with Munguia and Vergil (post-147): careful and calculated matchmaking to keep the gravy train going as long as possible. I think the best we can ask for is Barrios at 147.

            This is what I’m thinking.

I’d be looking at Teofimo or possibly a weak belt holder at 147 like Barrios.
I’d put him on a low risk high credit/lucrative fight. He just won a tough challenge it’s alright for the next one to be easier to work more on his development. He performed well last sat but obviously there’s still plenty left to improve. I don’t think he’s good enough for tank rematch, or teo or top 3 welterweights.

cruz is also dangerous style for him. His style will work well with the haneys, kambosos or maybe shakur.

I highly agree with this. Tough to look good against a style like that. You gotta be a brawler too, tank is a strong compact dude and cruz was still walking on him.

Yeah, you're right Gio's with Top Rank.

Barboza makes sense since Ryan rejected the Ramirez fight a while back.

Yeah Cruz gives him hell IMO.
