Between the politics and financials involved, they would drag on and on. Turki is like, politics? Here is 50 million dollars. Now get in the ring.
Speaking as someone who has been watching boxing (in and out the ring) since the 1980s i get just a hoot when I hear someone say "the usual boxing promoters could never do on their own". Historically boxing has thrived only in the US and the UK. Can you please tell me what big fight, if any fight, has this Turki guy ever promoted in those two regions please. This guy has been on the boxing scene for a year and his only two carfs of note were AJ vs Usyk and Fury vs MMA guy. Meanwhile the four promoter that have put on the biggest fights in America in the last 5 decades are still active and putting on fights. Arum, Haymon, Oscar and old crooked azz Don king. Almost every big fight that needed to get made eventually did between these guys until recently. Where are all these American fights that didn't get made that needed the help of a Saudi guy?

      Face of boxing? No.
      match maker extraordinaire, yes.

He can make all these punk@s.s promoters come together, thats for sure.

What's great though is what he won't do is cave to pu$$y demands, like 2 lambo and sh.it

It's just weird how all you guys jumped on Hearn's nuts acknowledge 5 years ago and said that Dazn was the new shyte that was going to put the Americans out of business. Ten bucks a month no PPVs was all I heard. It didn't take to long for that to fail (like I told you) and after you guys rode Hearn's dyke so hard you snatched it out the socket and jumped str8t onto the freaky Sheiki's nuts. Now once again you're all saying he's going to put the Yanks out of business by over paying all the fighters just like Hearn/Dazn said they were going to do. Turki da Smurki is going to fail just like the rest. Boxing is a grass root sport that is home grown in the US and UK and it shall remain that way. I just can't understand how all you fuqers are just bending over to call someone his EXCELLENCY! I mean in the States we don't even refer to our 'leader' like that. We call the current administration OLD JOE AND THE BROWN HOE and the slimeball court defendant that's trying to get back in the White house as ORANGE CHEETO DUST MAN. You guys are sick!

It's terrible that so many died on 9/11 - but if Teddy Atlas is an a55 for forgetting about that

then what should we make of ?? >>

Foreign deaths caused by US actions overseas >

Iraq- from 100,000 to 1 million deaths, depending on which estimate you go by.

Afghanistan- tens of thousands but difficult to say as the Pentagon refuses to count civilian deaths anymore (why is that?)

Gulf War- most estimates around 50,000 deaths.

Central America- US supported dictatorships and the ********* Contras killed over 300,000 in the 1980s. 200,000 of that was in Guatemala, an outright genocide vs Mayan Indians that Reagan backed with weapons, money, and training. In El Salvador, the US also bombed the nation from US bases in the Panama Canal Zone. So US responsibility for these atrocities is shared with the dictatorships.

Vietnam- at least 1 million, some estimates double that. This includes by chemical warfare, Agent Orange and napalm, and also with mass torture, the Phoenix Program that killed at least 20,000.

Imho may and pac level money started the fighters not wanting to do anything but coast into a golden ticket fight with the cash cow. Alvarez has kept that torch burning nicely.

I'm afraid if the Saudis pull out at some point it's going to crash hard. It's almost like a new crappy layer of the promotional battles ffs. Canelo will fight DB, but only for saudi money is an example.

Again, in my opinion, we need to address fighters making/expecting too much money. Not saying if they earn it they shouldn't get it, but Alvarez and ggg made dazn lose money. I think pbc may be regretting the canelo signing now. Alvarez and ggg should make huge amounts fighting each other, that's where the interest is, not steve rolls or jermell.

Boxing was always a business, but until the Mayweather era it was never even close to this bad. Hell, if you divide his career in two, the first half is what boxing should be.
It will so even more reason to enjoy it now

that was then and this is now

              May-Pac - 5 years too late
              Stevenson-Kovalev - never made
              Canelo-Benavidez
              Stevenson vs Haney
Wilder vs AJ 4 years ago

all fights that would've gottent made with more money in the pot and less politics

Well, he's certainly not the face of GQ. I wonder how much he'd charge to haunt a house?

yeah - his excellency is stomach churning - but I don't see anyone saying the Saudis are going to put the Yanks out of business - that's you making that up - what is being said is that most of the very biggest fights are happening in S.A now and as long as Turki keeps throwing ****** money around that's likely to continue
