It's more the weight classes he's fighting in that don't really get the respect of the U.S. boxing fans. It's unfortunate.

Why? America isn't that relevant in boxing now
All roads lead to Saudi. Vegas is old news.
Anyway he doesn't need validation from Americans. He can sell out arenas in Japan faster than any Americans can in America, that's why they have to go to Japan for their whooping.
The boxing world doesn't revolve around USA now, USA is being left in the shade in anyway. Its just a fact.Last edited by deathofaclown; 04-12-2024, 02:08 PM.

Vehemently no. US fans have already proven they're too ****** to appreciate him. Made his US debut back in 2017 with a highlight reel KO, and chumps like this writer don't even remember it, let alone recognize their own hypocrisy highlighting fighters who have hardly fought outside the US. Boxing is dying in the US anyways, and growing big in Japan.

Greatness has nothing to do with ones zip code.
You could argue one might have more financial opportunities in certain instances, but because the US is a pretty xenophobic country + fans are biased against lighter weight boxers I don't think Monster is one of those boxers. TR tried to have him fight here & it didn't really attract an audience. Hes better off fighting at home & perhaps his financial windfall, besides what hes already earning at home, could end up being a Saudi fight with how things are these days. But thats all money sh^t, skill sh^t & legacy isn't made or broken over your geography.

I saw Floyd recently suggested this as well, that nayuoa leave his homeland because he’s not clean. Thing is… Floyd never Vegas either.
Inuoa doesn’t have to Japan to be great. He’s the champion,
Im getting a real strong scent of hate masked as criticism. The Fulton KO has people uncomfortable with his achievements. He’s doing something right
