If canelo doesn't want the tough fights, he should retire now. There are only a few top guys left after all of these cherry-picks that he has been doing. He is only getting older while benavidez is getting better and better. Bivol also has his number all day. I highly doubt he wants any part of beterbiev.

I am a Canelo fan but this is NOT a good look. How can you claim to be the best at 168 if you can’t fight someone at that weight due to him being bigger? Isn’t being bigger naturally an advantage. Just say I’m not willing to take a risk to fight the bigger man even though he can MAKE WEIGHT for MY weight class.

      who agrees?

        who agrees?

and then say you’re willing to fight the champion at 175? That means you are clearly avoiding Benavidez

True. But I don’t think he will. It’s actually probably more money in Benavidez to be honest.

It does seem like Canelo just doesn't want to fight David Benavidez. I highly doubt he wants to rematch Bivol or face Beterbiev. These guys are just too big for him now and he learned that in the Bivol fight. These are very good Boxers with all the physical advantages over him. He's reached his limit now after starting at 147.

I thing is that if Canelo beats Munguia he can get any fight he wants. If he really says that he wants the winner of Beter/Bivol they will surely entertain it boxing David out of a big money fight.

You can’t be mad at Canelo vs the winner of Bivol-Beterbiev.

Especially if it’s Beterbiev, many on here have said that Canelo would never dare fight him.

He’d rather lose to the Russians. He’s terrified of losing to another Mexican.
