Guess this debate should be GGGs best wins compared to Canelo's best wins-MINUS those fighters who were over the age of 35 at the time of the fight.

HBO and DAZN paid him ****** contracts thinking he would fight elite fighters but he would ONLY fight canelo or cans. Got forced to fight Bummy dervychenko and got his ass kicked.

Yep really looked like Golovkin was the one who got his a$$ kicked there...

I also don't know how you figure Sergey Derevyanchenko is bummy?! He has been involved in fight of the year in 2 of the last 5 years across all weights... He is in the exclusive club of being the only fighter to visibly hurt Golovkin as well as being able to hurt Jermall Charlo, Jacobs and being one punch away from knocking out Munguia.

You also have conveniently forgot to mention how Canelo ducked Sergey and vacated the IBF 160lbs title instead of fighting him (Sergey was his mandatory). If he was that "bummy" then surely Canelo would've handled him with ease?

Its odd to put such heavy evaluation on the Derevyanchecnko fight, GGG was already 37 by then. Thats like judge Tyson based on his fight against Danny Williams, or Hagler based on his fight against....well, he was already retired by that age.

Exactly, they're just haters and they're reaching because they've got nothing else credible to say. Even during the onset of athletic decline Golovkin was still able to perform at a high standard without compromising his style in any way.

welp....I looked at this thread yesterday when it was posted and just knew half of it would be posters trashing GGG.

He is truly the best middle weight of the last 10-15 years, fought who was there available, had a long impressive ko streak, fun to watch, and I don't think its even debatable that he beat Canelo in their first fight.

I'll miss watching him, even the exchanges between him and Max Kellerman were entertaining in post fight interviews.

It is basically like this IMO, concerning what you are doing.

I can tell you with no qualms, Canelo is a very good fighter with a great chin. No doubt. But his career has been incredibly overhyped and he has a few robberies. That said, he has fought some names and I can say he is a very good fighter.

You have spent this entire thread laughing at a guy who crushed everyone he ever fought, who was blatantly ducked by Canelo in his prime and several other guys who wanted nothing to do with him. Martinez, Froch and a few others off the top of my head.

Point being, most who don't like Canelo can at least admit he is a good fighter. You sound incredibly biased and like you are making an appearance on the hater's ball.
And still no name....Just a long winded way of avoiding it
