Maybe in the ring as well, I wouldn't bet on it being another Douglas/Tyson but styles do make fights and like you said things can go very wrong especially in the fight game. By the way I won $500 on $60 bets Douglas/Tyson fight on a longshot win, $300 came from a Douglas knockout. It was pure luck on my end but all my but the guys wouldn't bet against me for a while

I have seen this movie before and more times than not, when fighters talk like this they either cover up and prevent damage before getting stopped or get on their bike, hold alot, and try to make it 12.

What I was about to say. Something just feels like a fight Nery tries to survive. If he goes 12, he did not get hurt. As much as he is talking, it is either a fight of the year slugfest or a forgettable 12 round Monster win.

I imagine the boxing authority in Japan has alot of confidence in Inoue and probably made it clear that they need him to impress so there is alot of pressure on him to perform well as for Nery, he seems like he is happy to be getting a good payday, he might see what he can do but if it becomes apparent its not going to be his night he'll fold up the way he's talking.

I actually like Nery , but he must be on some good drugs. He can't possibly really believe that about Inoue. Let me correct that , I like how Nery fights. As a person, I'm not impressed. He seems like the type who would kick a puppy.

Yeah I always like that "it wasn't my night tonight, I just couldn't get my work off for some reason"

The reason usually being because you were too busy getting you face caved in by a better fighter
