Nine wasteful months and they did nothing to secure their own individual fights. How the heck can you not notice these 2 clowns perceived to be the best in the sport, yet they're not seen often enough in the ring by fans.

I for the life of me just can't understand why Crawford doesn't sign with PBC to finish his career. There's about 6-8 good fights left in him and they're all with PBC. Al Haymon has promoted some of the biggest entertainers for decades and Crawford would be best served if he aligned hi.self with Al.

Boots has no resume and has been plagued by inactivity. Maybe that's down to his promoter. We'll see. But there's 20 guys that have been in the top 10 in the last two years, and he's fought ONE. He doesn't sell yet. No need to play the blame game.
If Bud is going to fight a younger skilled fighter who's not going to increase the sales, it makes ZERO sense to do it for a belt he already won and didn't lose in the ring. I'd much rather see him fight for the WBO 154 or take on Madrimov for the WBA if Fundora is going to be out for 6 months and Jermell is going to be a chickens**t, and get that chance at joining the 4 division champs.
He doesn't get anything for beating Ennis. Just the belt he's already got hanging in his house, and I guarantee most people will be saying Ennis was a hypejob with no resume, or that Bud took him on while he was still green. Ennis isn't a longstanding champion with good wins who will be relevant on a resume. Even if he becomes great later, Bud'll still get the same crap Mayweather gets for fighting Canelo when the latter was young and green.
And FOH with "but eYe TeSt". Yeah, he looks to have skills and power, but he HAS. NO. RESUME. And he's already avoided opportunities to fight both Bud and Spence. He can F right off and maybe he can start building his own legacy. Maybe.

Boots is an undefeated American, so the USA guys like that fight. But it's the USA scene that froze Crawford out for years and denied him fair opportunity. Even now trying to screw him out of the WBO 154lb fight. So if Crawford takes his ball and goes to Saudi, the fans and promoters can blame themselves. Spence had no mandatory for years, then the instant he loses his belt they take it off Crawford and give it to Ennis. It's a complete joke, and why the hell would Crawford accept being manipulated and mistreated like that if he has a much bigger financial offer on the table from elsewhere?
BTW where did all the Spence fans go? Guy was one of the most popular, highly rated fighters on here yet as soon as he lost everybody acted like they were never fans and always thought he sucked. Was literally the same as the Jeff Lacy situation way back when.

As long as they keep dragging their feet with no fight lined up their inactivity will continue to get noticed.
They may not want to fight each other, but they need to make their moves asap just to stop the demand for the fight.
We may not want it, but there will always be people out there who want to see them fight each other.
