Not sure what’s in Serrano fight for KT. More difficult and probably less money spinning for her than Cameron trilogy fight. And is Croke Park a dealbreaker? Plenty other suitable stadia in Ireland or England to host this.

Serrano isn't more difficult than Cameron, Cameron is bigger and younger and has one official and one unnoficial win over Taylor. I think Amanda is a bit past her peak now.

I did think Serrano Taylor was close but I could see Taylor winning on points where I thought Cameron clearly beat her both times.

It is what it is with Taylor though, disgusting corruption has clouded her entire career and we will probably see it yet again vs serrano.

How did you think Cameron won both fights? I don't think there was even any debate that Taylor won the second, just like when Cameron won the first.

Either way I don't really like when fighters win the rematch and it becomes 1-1 and then they pretty much avoid the fight again like the rematch settled the score because it hasn't. But we see it all the time, the A side takes two attempts to win and then freezes them out.

Serrano should be going after Baumgardner. Taylor should be looking to settle the score with Cameron. Has any fighter in the modern era of boxing gotten more gift decisions than Taylor? I honestly can't think of anyone. I don't think Serrano has the fire in her belly anymore.

Let me rephrase it the officiating in the rematch was so outrageously biased I don't consider it an official win.

Cameron switching from blaming Hearn to blaming Taylor?
What could be the reason for this change?

Just noting that I don't believe Taylor won either fight against Persoon. She was absolutely battered.

IDK how a fighter can go on with their head held high after getting so many gifts – you'd have to warp your perspective on the world.

It's absurd to be honest, and all the nonsense about her being a once in a lifetime talent and all that.

I agree with you that Persoon beat her twice, and Persoon is not a glamorous fighter she's just a classic blood and guts type.

Persoon went 50/50 with Bo Mi Re Shin in her last fight and to me Shin didn't do any worse than Katie Taylor did vs Persoon. To me there's probably 5 or 6 female fighters around Taylor weight who are all about as good as her.

The fawning and hype just disgusts me, it's one of the most micromanaged and smoke and mirrors careers I've seen.

Yep, you're being naive and deluded.

I always thought women's boxing is gaining momentum because it's not as corrupt as with men's. But it started to become as corrupt. It's just human nature to wiggle out of any fight you deemed you can't win. It's delusional to not let it go. Delfine Persoon has been Baumgardner's WBC mandatory, for example, yet Alice avoided that fight like a plague and fought the girl Persoon had already beaten.
