I've always picked Gamboa to beat Juanma and I'll stick to it. His hand speed would give Juanma fits, but Juanma seems to have a better chin than Gamboa. There defense can be porous at times, but Gamboa's looked light years better then Lopez's last night. Gamboa by KO, but a winnable fight for Juanma.

You guys are fools to think the juanma that showed up last night would show up again against any opponent @ 126.

The man has been talking about going up in weight all year. hmm, maybe it's because he can't make 122 anymore. This is part of the reason why mtwaga lasted and was semi effective. Of course, juanma has to share the blame for his poor performance as I have stated in other threads. No I have not jumped on the juanma bandwagon because I felt he was untested and has faught some weak opponents. but last night he got a good lesson, if he learns and grows from it then he will win more championships, if he doesn't then too bad for him.

People here are so quick to jump to conclusions. Still, gamboa vs lopez is a must see must be made fight. lopez lost his chance to unify with caballero, and thus if cab wants a piece of lopez he will have to go up in weight. that being said cab might have a better chance. I would still like lopez to unify vs. cab and then move up and fight gamboa.

if he was able to win those, his name would be raised to a much higher level than if he did not.

Oh, so I guess every fighter needs to have a pretty boy look and a glossy record to be deserving of a TV spot. That is such a bull**** way of thinking. There are plenty of fighters that HBO need to showcase. They are giving Glen Johnson his deserved shot at Chad Dawson, which is good. But why did they turn down his fight with Adamek? That would've been a bigger payday for Glen than the fight with Dawson. And I don't know why Soto isn't being given an HBO slot other than the fact that he got potshotted against a boring ass fighter in a fight of where he landed the more damaging punches. Arum and HBO is at fault for not that loss, but not giving him another chance after he hung in there and not quitting like Ortiz did, albeit against a mover as opposed to a hard punching aggressive fighter.

No, you r the only fool if you think Lopez is going to fight anyone with a pulse at 122 or 126! Arum would let Gamboa knock him out because he controls him but noone else is getting close to him! Damn shame too because with a little guts Or demanding the fight from Arum, a fight with cab, would be huge chance to make a statement about the fighter he wants to be!

He does'nt have flaws clown. He might make mistakes sometimes because he's trying to be exciting but he's one of the most all around fighters out there.

Ummm maybe he's been talking about moving up all year because Cab's was calling him out for most part of the year.

dumb ass read the bold, you idiot, my point has nothing to do with the fact that juanma has been fighting tomato cans. any one with objectivity can see that.

are you some sort of nostradamus to know to future? STFU if you can't read and comprehend a complete thought. Can you tell me what my point was in my original post? Lets see your redeem your self.

Is Arum co promoting Gamboa? If so you will see Lopez/Gamboa before you see Lopez/Caballero.
