Ok but if Juanma's power doesn't affect Gamboa? We have seen what happens to Juanma when his power can't save him, and him getting rocked and close to getting KTFO by the guy, I believe Gamboa is a lot faster than the guy Juanma fought, if he isn't careful Gamboa will put him to sleep.

Yeah, I've got a problem with Juan Ma Lopez headlining an HBO card after that performance. Just like I don't even like Victor Ortiz even being on a Boxing After Dark undercard. It's got nothing to do with hating Ricans. These fighters need to earn their stripes before being given preferential treatment.

Something that struck me yesterday, is how a poor technique Juanma has and how SLOW he is for his weight class, I had a preview of it against Lontchi but I thought it was just a bad night and I was still high on Juanma because he was in my top 5 favorite fighters. Yesterday he was awful, I still don't understand how some people are still defending him (i gotta admit 95% of them are ricans). Juanma's hooks were telegraphed from miles away, there is no way one of those could possibly land on someone as fast as Gamboa.

And people, just face it, that african dude was just a BUM with a big HEART. We knew nothing about his training before yesterday. On the other hand, Whyber Garcia (who is also not that good) was a better challenger, that took his training extremely seriously and really wanted to take that belt from Gamboa. There was like some kind of small 24/7 from Garcia's people, with news every week on how they were getting ready to kill Gamboa. And look how he finished up...


Now, back to Juanma, he did win an UD in my scores, BUT you all know that he WAS about to die in that last round. WHAT IF one of those wild punches from the African did land? We would have seen the same fight, but Juanma would've finished KTFO on the floor... And it almost happened, it's not a fantasy... Just think about it, nobody is hating on Juanma, hardcore fans just need to relax and realise their champ is not all that.
