Gamboa: "Let Juanma Prove He's Better in The Ring"

WBA "regular" featherweight champion Yuriorkis Gamboa is ready to fight Juan Manuel Lopez right now. Gamboa and Lopez co-headlined the Latin Fury 12 pay-per-view on Saturday night at the WaMu Theater in New York's Madison Square Garden. Gamboa knocked out Whyber Garcia in four rounds and Lopez was taken to the limit by Rogers Mtagwa. [details]

I'll bet Lopez will be quiet as a mouse when it comes to Gamboa until the fight happens. And I'll laugh my ass off if Lopez turns this fight down just like they did with Cab when both of these guys are handled by Arum.

i still think gamboa needs more experience, but if that bum matagwa had him like he did last night,a couple of those punches from gamboa will ko juanmaricon...it looks like a couple of more bums for juanmaricon before he faces any good fighters,

Damn are some of you racist or just hate puerto ricans? You hate seeing a Puerto Rican being the headliner of a card

I'd put my money on Gamboa he's got alotta flaws but he deserves a fight like this and to take that "0" away from Juanma.

Gamboa will KO this ****in bastard....

Mtagwa took him deep, Gamboa will drown him...

But we all know that Arum wont let this fight happen until Mama Lopez fights a few more bums....

I hope this fight gets made, soon. I also hope Arum doesn't get extra-protective about Lopez, now.
