Davis best wins have turned out to be C-B tier fighters at best based on their most recent performances... Is Davis the real deal or overrated? Anyone who types ''he beats whats in front of him'' will be instantly blocked.

I have serious doubts on whether Davis can move up in weight and dominate. I also have a serious concern about the lack of quality fights in his division, especially with Devin Haney speaking to ghosts and avoiding him at all costs. Honest discussion please

He beats what's in front of him, but then again, his people are putting b-c level fighters in front of him.

So no, he's not proven and the clock is ticking.

The most one can say is that he appears to have some nice skills and punching power. He is yet to test it against an elite rival. The Haney fight is gone, in a boxing world without politics and self-interest than Tank - Shakur is obviously the fight to make. Contrasting styles, would love to see it. Then we'd be able to better answer your question.

I think he proved himself in the Cruz fight. Showed heart, determination and the ability to adjust to very hungry and tricky fighter.

By all accounts, he has Frank Martin up next. Another quality opponent.

Proved his mettle in the Barrioso win at 140 and solidified it with his boxing in the Pitbull fight and how easily he handled Garcia.
By god I hope we can see him vs Haney, Shakur and Teo before his time is up, he better get a move on. The no 1 PPV star spot is his for the taking.

Not sure, by the time the new crop of fighters reach elite status he be close to his mid thirties. Also I doubt he compete at 140 ot higher either unless there are stipulations.

The skills, Ring IQ and punching power is obviously there, the opposition is kinda lacking and the risk management by his team is holding him from making it happen.

I see him fighting Loma after the Ukrainian looks like he is declining.
