  • So, if Spence is not a great fight for Fundora...

...than Spence is also not a great win for Crawford. Which means, we have to question the fact about Crawford being N.1. p4p.

You are what your best wins are. And you all know the answer which active boxer has the best win.

    Bivol of course.

lets give the great white shark a shot at redemption, even alco joyriders get a second chance most of the time

redemption meaning beating someone decent at 154 not a shot at top guys and belts imo but then again hes a money guy so all bets off with that

Its a money thing, not a quality thing. But Errol would obviously be a great name for Fundora's resume along with being the biggest payday at 154.

You think Fundora would beat Spence? He won last night and took advantage of a great opportunity but nothing has shown me the overall package he brings to the ring is that great. He fought an almost even keel fight against a guy who couldn't see in one eye for most of the fight.

Spence is moving up against fighters closer to his natural weight and would be fighting a opponent that brings similar problems that Ugas did.

It takes a big knockout puncher with good timing to beat Fundora, even then he might be problem seeing his fight with Lubin who was in a winning streak. Spence beats his opponents through punch accumulation at 147. He might stun Sebastian, but it likely go the 12 rounds.

Spence might win, but that doesn't seem like an easy match up for a fighter whose coming off a big loss and is moving up.

Not an easy fight for Spence, he has been out a long time so we don't know how he'll look but potentially winnable since Fundora has alot of flaws to exploit. He might be one of the most beatable world champions in boxing right now even if he has alot of heart, is fun to watch, and seems like a good guy.

Guess we see when the fight happens, I agree that Fundora has exploitable flaws, but it requires specific skills and attributes to beat him. (Which Tszyu has but wasn't able to do so considering the circumstances.)

Think he beats the likes of Castano, and Madrimov. But loses to Charlo and Crawford. Don't think a declining Spence has the punching power and style to beat Fundora, he has underrated boxing skills but he was often caught with fighters like Porter and Ugas, his style was suited to overwhelm fighters physically similar in size (most who were just good fighters) or smaller fighters at 147. It be difficult to pull away from Fundora or attempt to get to the body in his declined state without getting jabbed, uppercutted or hooked.

Don't know if Fundora would win. Just don't think its an easy fight. Don't think Spence like Fundora beats Tszyu either.

Fighters get changed by things like losing their 0 in a massive beatdown. He is almost certainly not the same fighter he was. Why would that be such a good win compared to the undefeated unified champion he was going into the Crawford fight?

Now we got excuses why the winner won and why the loser lost, surprising how fans react to a bit of claret, its fighting the UFC has blood everywhere all the time if we see it boxing its quick call out the emergency squad. Lots of fighters get a cut on the top of the head and win, just as Fundora won with a broken nose swallowing his blood, its fighting no excuses.

...and Spence is changing trainers too.

I'd pick Madrimov against Spence. Spence is not going to be able to impose himself at 154 like he could at 147.
