Not only do I want PBC to succeed, I want regular events again. Their fighters sit on the shelf way too much. It needs to be twice a year for their big name fighters. Im not sure it's possible if every fight has to be ppv.

I think Al Bernstein still gets gigs. I don't like his politics, but his boxing knowledge is pretty good.

Yea I think Mr Liondw has it totally backwards. It was Jim Lampley and Merchant that brought their awful political commentary to HBO when all we wanted to see was a fight. Pauike did the same at Showtime and got D bootz!

Because they want pbc to fail, because they hate Al Haymon. These intense pbc haters come from cultures where black men are not supposed to rise to the top, it should always be someone who is white or someone perceived as having close proximity to whiteness. Al Haymon for these people is something to fear, successful, Ivy League educated, connected, and with a toolbox so well supplied that he knows all the angles…and what’s worse, he moves in silence. Those who want desperately to watch him and see what he is up to don’t have access to him since he doesnt bother with the media. This is just too much for people raised by uneducated and underexposed peoples who love a life that must conform with what the grandparents and great grandparents passed down. Until he is out of boxing a sizeable number of race fans will lament the very day he is the power broker of American boxing…even if they themselves don’t live in, never been to, or otherwise don’t have anything to do with the usa

What we don't like about PBC is the roster isn't active enough and they don't make enough fights outside of their stable. The latter can be said about all promoters. That's pretty much the gist of it. Maybe the inactivity of fighters was due to the knowledge of Showtime boxing coming to a close and that will all change this year and going forward. I hope so. I don't hate on any promotional outfit or broadcasting service. Nor do I suck at any of their teats. Us real boxing fans just want to watch the best fight the best consistently. Simple.
