I never understand why Reynoso switched Valdez's style from pressure fighter to counter puncher.

More when it was defined late on his career. He could had applimented defense while he is aggressive, but instead he walks in the backfoot giving his opponents more opportunities to recover and land. They also dectictate the fight.

Most fighters at 130 are rangier than Valdez.
