But the point remains: Oscar did 900k-1.0 mil pretty consistently in all his biggest fights. And then he did 1.35 with Tito (that was a HUUUGE) fight.
A month out, Nostradamus tells me that he hasn't feltthe mainstream buzz that would indicate this fight starts to approach 1.5 mil.
YES. I do acknowledge that 24/7's have a positive impact on the nums.Comment

More realistically, I'd guess the increased PPV numbers generated from the 24/7's barely pays for the production costs, but that's just my guess.
I think the 750k to 1 million estimate is probably pretty close, though it could slightly top that. If it does, it won't be by much. Still great numbers, in my opinion.Comment

I think this will sell 800k because of Pacquiao.
There is no evidence that Cotto is a draw.
Cotto-Clottey(HBO WCB). Yes the viewers count, but what about Vitali-Arreola doing over 2Mill viewers? does that mean that a Klitschko HBO PPV would be successful? Nope.
Cotto-Margarito(HBO PPV) Numbers were never released by Top Rank/Bob Arum for obvious reasons. Rumors were that it sold 400k PPV's which is not bad..but that's also what Marquez-Pacquiao did at 130(a weight class that got little to no exposure). So it wasn't all that for a WW bout(hottest division at the time).
Cotto-Mosley(HBO PPV) 355k PPV's sold.
Pacquiao is the draw here. If the PPV is successful then Pacquiao should get a lot of credit.Comment
