I see this fight for Juama like Torres was for Cotto a learning experience that will only get him better.

I didn't see the fight, but i will speak more broadly.

What makes guys like Shane or Floyd or Bernard special is that they train like crazy for every fight. They may not end up being better than the guy, but someone who isn't supposed to beat them is not going to beat them. And i'm talking about when they were young and coming up.

I know this is a lesson, but it is a lesson that you should not HAVE to learn. Shane isn't getting tripped up by Adrian Stone. Henry Bruseles isn't going to catch Floyd slipping.

This is ZAb-like behaviour. It doesn;t reflect inner drive and professionalism.

you should watch the fight. Juanma took a hellacious beating for the last 4 rounds, and almost got stopped n the 11th and was out of his feet for all of the 12th.

and second ... this whole thread is about the insecurities with JuanMa ... again i'm on topic... and he was on the ropes bouncing around barely staying up ....

again... he survived and won his fight... he would not beat Rafa, Izzy or Caballero with his performance tonite ... he needs to improve and i think he still can... it came early enough in his career, now back the *** up i'm not even hating on JuanMa you're just an over protective mom!!

But he didnt clinch at first. I still cant believe after all teh punches he ate, he never went down and that he survive the 12.

In the post fight interview he said he was out since the 11. lol
