From all appearances, the Saudis’ approach seems to be “Thiese are the fights we want, here are purses we are willing to pay and we aren’t doing any negotiating on any of this.” So Benavidez’s promoter is wasting his breath talking about entering negotiations with Turki and wasting his time begging on social media for the Saudis to make the Canelo-Benavidez fight - just like Canelo is about “demanding” $150
million to $200 million. If anything, I think the Saudis would only be interested in having Benavidez OR Canelo come to Saudi Arabia to fight Beterbiev if Artur beats Bivol and becomes undisputed at LH. And you can best believe Canelo won’t be the “A side” if that happens, so he’d better be ready to park his ego and his usual diva demands at the door.

This is the only question everyone should be asking Canelo.
You know, if Canelo was to say he’s afraid of Benavidez, I don’t think he will lose credibility. People will respect him for owning it.

Bivol reminded that talent and skill are levels above the hype, if a fighter is able mentally to deal with all of that extra hype going into the fight.
Bivol beat a 5 8 super middleweight. Nothing impressive there. If he beats a true light heavyweight like Beterbiev then he deserves all the credit. There is a reason he is not superstar.

Lance pugmire. Stop being a clickbait mf putting “promoter” , we all know who Sampson is and what he said, just put that on the tittle, stop trying to make it seem as if there was a middle eastern promoter interested in the fight

Turki probably has no idea who Canelo is. Maybe they told him he is one of Bivol's victims.

Why should Turki pay 150+ million for the fight which will look like Bivol - Ramirez.

Go the fu.ck away with that idea.

That 5 foot 8 super middleweight knocked out a true 175lb'er in Kovalev, so what's your point? Canelo is a simple fighter and Bivol just highlighted the blueprint required to beat him; circle away from his offence all night whilst launching 1st, 2nd and 3rd phase attack combos. Canelo's feet are so slow meaning there is nothing he can do to remedy that style of fighting.

I don't think the Saudis will put up $150 - 200 million for Alvarez to fight Benavidez, simply because he has the audacity to demand it.
