Dang... a ton of Munguia hate on here!! I still like him. I think he is the type of fighter who pushes all his chips in and sells out for every opponent. Obviously Alvarez sees a win, or else he would not line him up for his traditional May fight. But I see the potential for a "cherry pick" go wrong here if Munguia and his team prep properly and he really wants this win. Obviously, if he is just happy to be there Alvarez wins walking away, but I just do not see that in Munguia. I think he comes to win it and Alvarez has shown some signs of decline. I like this fight.

Why is Canelo's ass color relevant?

I think its mostly just Munguia's nature to be soft spoken and respectful to his opponents. I don't think for a minute that he's going to step up to the ring and fight meekly. Benavidez is the bigger fight on paper, but Munguia vs anybody is fight of the night so I am expecting a barnburner, whoever wins.

I'm starting to think you are mistaken and will be disappointed.

We’ll see. Never saw Jaime Munguia just show up for a paycheck. If Canelo wins he’ll have to work for it.

Aspire to be canelo, but his defence is whack and he comes in head first unlike canelo.

Every fighter wants to be the face of boxing

                  Not everyone is good enough
For those who say luck played a part, it's really their way of saying they hate Nelo

All of these boogeymen are so great and powerful, yet, can never be the face of the sport.
