Joyce had already reached the pinnacle of his career. He is slow, plodding, strong, and his above average chin got him to contender status

If Joyce was 5 or 6 years younger, a performance like this would not bother me. Let him rebuild himself, I would say, and so long as he is active and focused he has a chance. But he is closing in on 40, was out of shape, and looked like he had zero urgency in this fight. I liked watching him box, so I am bummed by how fast he has declined.

Zach parker isn't a world level fighter. He's European level at best hell get stopped by fringe level guys at world level. Zeuge was never a great fighter and he had parker in trouble in there.

Boxing trainers and their families, need to be honest with the fighters. As a comeback fight for Joyce, he looked horrible. In his fighting style, he showed nothing new. Joyce was over-weight, very slow, throwing punches off balance, no footwork. Going 10 rounds with this Kash Ali, he should be embarrassed of himself. With the way he looked tonight, if Joyce fights a top contender, he will get badly hurt, injured and knocked out cold.

Ali showed some good rope-a-dope. Funny how Kash frigging Ali has miles better defence than Fish Eyes’s pet Dubois. Same would also go for guys like Hrgovic, Kownacki and Joyce himself. To imagine that so many guys who have some talent completely neglect defence at heavyweight. Even though we’ve watched all these guys pay dearly for it. Hrgovic still waiting for his first ugly ko loss but the others have been destroyed bcs they have no idea how to slip and move or to block and parry.
