For all of the people starting the bull crap, Juan Ma usually beats his guys by knock out. He was fighting this guy and went toe to toe with him and was exhausted at the end. He never backed down, and decided to tray with the guy. He took alot of punches as well as the other guy, and at the end, he ran out of gas. I would love to see any of you haters step inside the ring and do that. This was a great fight that Juan Ma won clearly props to the other guy, he also fought a brave fight and diserves great fights.

I called it in the 11th, I knew they would have a close card ot two and have one that made it impossible for even a draw because Juanma is the projected future of boxing and a lot of people stand to make a lot of money off of him. Arum is trash for real, forget this loser "the one score card..115-111 was accurate, the other ones, I don't know what the judges were thinking". Man you are a crook and could not even hold it together while spitting that garbage because you know what a money grubbing crook you are and you need "your star" to fill your fat pockets.

Yup, makes for an interesting fight but he fought dumb. And if Juanma actually paced himself correctly and threw straighter punches he'd probably would have eventually ko'd his opponent tonight. He had his opponent hurt tonight but at times Juanma fought his opponents fight.

Some fans predict fights based on what a boxer looked like in his last fight.
Thats why Cotto is the underdog to Pac because casual fans seen a great KO and a hard win.
Now Juan Ma has a hard time with this guy and all of a sudden "Juan wouldnt make it with Izzy or Marquez and cant handle Cabellero.
When a couple of weeks ago everyone was saying Juan blows out Cabellero and Izzy and MArquez are too old.....lol

Juanma CLEARLY wont he fight. He absolutely dominated the first half of the fight. I was almost certain he was on his way to a latish stoppage.

Just cause Matagwa came on strong at the end and nearly won by KO, doesnt mean they robbed him. He clearly lost the fight

I also agree with this post. JuanMa was outboxing him for most of the fight, Matagwa was stronger towards the end of the fight but just because he ALMOST,SHOULD'VE or COULD'VE Knocked JuanMa out doesnt mean he won the fight. It wasnt close to me at all, but Matagwa had an incredible chance to steal the fight. He had 2:10 seconds to KO a fighter who was waiting to be KO'ed. He didnt go to JuanMa's body and only head hunted exerting energy, he wasnt conservative at all.

Great fight but Bob Arum should not do a rematch.....lol

I caught the fight late, but much respect goes out to both fighters.

It wasn't a technically brilliant fight, or a smart one by JuanMa, but it's because of nights like this, we love boxing.

He was damn near knocked out by a clubfighter and showed no defense or stamina whatsoever. You don't see how people could be unimpressed by that?
