I hope its a competitive fight. I hope Munguia is going to try and win. We don’t need a Mexican JMWCharlo performance.

This is Jaime's big chance to make a name for himself. He should be motivated to give the great Saul "Canelo" Alvarez all that he can handle.

When GGG was 30 he defended his title against Makoto Fuchigami, Proska and Gabe Rosado.

You have the audacity to talk about Tank.lmfao.

Don't act like those two are anywhere near the same. Tank could make whatever fight he wants and still has the resume he does. GGG was essentially starting his career over at 30.

That would have not been a shame. Derevyanchenko has been unlucky not to win an alphabet belt somewhere. At his best, he was a very good fighter.

If Canelo gets old over night yes. Munguia's defense is terrible, I would like to be surprised if he can overcome his shortcomings and make it a competitive fight

Just making a point relative to the post because that poster treated GGG’s resume at the same point like it was spectacular.

I also don’t see why Tank would be mentioned in this thread.

Let’s see who Tank fights after Martin at 30.

Canelo should win comfortably because he's simply better. What Munguia needs to do though is make Canelo work for it. Although Jaime isn't as polished as Saul, his gas tank is better. It would be wise for him to start applying pressure immediately and start depleting Canelo's stamina. He can't outbox him so his best bet is go for broke and hope that Canelo fades enough to capitalize.

If he did, Canelo wouldn't be fighting him.
