Based on Ngannou’s performance against Fury, I’d still say it’s a very compelling and interesting fight against anyone in the top 15 in boxing. I think we see Ngannou vs Wilder, and anything can happen in that one.

Of course Dana White is gonna say that along with any other fear tactics to discourage any of his enslaved fighters trying to do the same thing as Ngannou.

Not that I mind that much since I'm not into these crossover fights.

Well, it's mostly true, but not the case with what happened in the Fury-Ngannou bout.

          Spoken like a true observer
Boxing is called the true science for a reason
when we clean up the judging in regards to the score cards we’ll regain our massive audience

Helenius moved straight back like an MMA fighter, and got flattened by Joshua.

Helenius at one point beat Brewster

Francis still gives the vast majority of HW boxers a run for their money. Given enough time to work on his flaws he could be a force. The turn around between the two fights was his undoing. They had a full fight of footage on him and the holes to his game. He only had time to work on what he would think would be effective but not much in the way of defense. If anything it feels he was thinking too much and not just going with his instincts. Ended brutally but it wasn’t a beat down he can’t come back from either.

No, that's what happens when two punchers meet when one knows what he's doing, the other fighting on instinct.

But the key thing is the fighters get paid properly and the UFC doesn't get it a cut. If Jon Jones is able to get out of his contract, look out. It will start an avalanche...
I agree, it's good business for all ... it might make some boxers and MMA fighters jealous though ... well, it's a new age, social media popularity drives revenues, just ask Jake Paul (who I like for making women's boxing bigger and with higher pay).

Aj was smart to come in 250 pounds.

Then you had francis what is his only advantage? 20 pounds of muscle mass? thats it, thats his sole advantage over AJ. he dont hit as hard, he dont have as proven chin, or speed, or age or reach or defense, literally anything. You saw them side by side both lean and big and there wasnt much size difference. 20 pounds aint enough to overcome that huge gap in skill.
